The photographs in this section are mainly vistas with good fishing streams located somewhere in the forest. Why scenes?

Because a fly rod needs to be used.  These are good places, both for the fly fisher, and a family vacation.  Also, they are the places with strong fly angling histories.

Mt. J. from IH02

Mt. Jefferson from Indian Henry. You see the upper Clackamas River basin. The “flat” is a place called “Big Bottom.” On the other side of Mt. Jefferson is the Metolius River.  Far to your left, on the other side of the crest line, the Deschutes River flows south to north.  Distance is about 35 air miles. Not in book.    yrdy
